About Me
My name is Kelijah McElroy. I’m a [Computer Science] student in the Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Department at St. Olaf College. I’m earning my [B.S] in [Computer Sceince]. During my previous internship I worked with the Idaho National Laboratory under the cybersecurity department, some of my roles included: Developinglessons for cybersecurity summer camps and leading hands-on activities involving Raspberry Pi’s, Breadboards, and Circuits. As well as acquiring practical skills in OSINT, Man-in-the-Middle attacks, firmware analysis, Denial of Service, and control system manipulation.
Research
What topics are you currently interested in researching, or have already done in your major studies.
Topics I am currently interested in are cybersecurity and Data analytics.
What topics are you interested in learning about regarding ethics.
I am interested in ethics behind using AI in healthcare and business models/oppertunites. What are the pros and cons of using advanced AI in corperate America, health industries, and the U.S. Military?
Personal Life
To give some background on my interest, my mom was a computer scientist who worked for the Air Force and with my previous internship, I was able to see first hand scenarios where cyber analysts and computer sceintist worked together to solve real world problems.
